Holiday and Before and After School (BAS) Programmes

HOLIDAY PROGRAMME:

Our April 2025 Holiday Programme enrolments are now open. The programme will run from Monday 14th April 2025 to Friday 25th April 2025 (We are closed good Friday and Easter Monday).  If your Tamariki is 5 to 13 years and enjoys being active and having fun, then the Whanganui Boys & Girls Gym Club is the place to be during the school holidays!
We run our holiday programme for two weeks every school holidays with the exception of the Christmas Holiday Period when we run the holiday programme for 3 weeks.

You can book in for as many full days as you require.  “We provide a safe and happy environment for all children to have fun throughout the day”

All fees are to be paid via credit card, debit card or cash before the date of the booking.
If you are applying for a subsidy you will need to sign up with WINZ for child care OSCAR funding and you can then can bring the form into the gym club or email us admin@whanganuigymclub.co.nz with the following information.
Your children/Tamariki name
What days you would like to book in
Your client number.
We will send you a copy of the form and submit the form to WINZ.  It is your responsibility to follow up that they have actioned the form, and please note you are liable for any outstanding fees not covered by your OSCAR funding.

Programme activities can include:

Games, drawing, Lego table, Team Building,
Tuesday morning Swimming, Thursday morning Swim and slide
Wednesday’s are outing days if weather permitting
Sports activities, Cooking, craft, movies, lego station, colouring in station and much more.

We are OSCAR approved.

$65 per full day (7.45am to 5.30pm) per child
(without WINZ subsidy)

PLEASE NOTE: WHEN BOOKING ON WEDNESDAY’S – DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND WEDNESDAY’S HAVE A NO CANCELLATION POLICY.

If for any reason you need to cancel a registration we require notice at least 24 hours prior to arrival time. If the cancellation/s is not received 24 hours prior the charge will still apply. You can email admin@whanganuigymclub.co.nz or phone 06 345867 for cancellation.

Hours of our holiday programme are 7.45am to 5.30pm Daily (there will be a late pick up fee of $20 per 15 minutes charged if you pick up after 5.30 pm, this is covering the extra staff cost for two staff members).

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE (BAS)

Before school 7am to 9am $18

After school 3pm to 5.30pm $27
